The City of Colby has announced several power outages that will take place. The first one is Monday, March 10th and then another on Tuesday April 1.
Monday, March 10th
From the City of Colby: "On Monday, March 10th the Electric Department will have a scheduled power outage. The area affected by this outage is mainly the residential area of Lynda, W 5th, Austin, Harvey, Walker and E Smith Dr. The Electric department will be doing electric power system maintenance. For residents in this area this outage will start at 9 am and estimated completion is expected by 12 pm."
Tuesday, April 1
"On Tuesday, April 01, 2025 the Electric Department will have a scheduled power outage. The area affected by this outage is mainly the downtown and residential areas from College Dr North to as far as the ball fields on 10th St. The Electric department will be doing system upgrades for the Power Plant substation. This outage will start at 6 am and estimated completion is expected by 7 am." The City of Colby
Remember with Scheduled Outages
Residences which use electricity and battery dependent assistive medical devices should have proper backups in place for this scheduled outages.
