What’s the KISS Dance?
KISS stands for Kids Invite Someone Special—a chance for kids Pre-K through 8th grade to bring a special adult in their life to a fun-filled dance. Whether it’s a mom, dad, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or close family friend, this event is all about making special memories together.

A Dance Like No Other!
The City Limits Convention Center will already be beautifully decorated from Colby High
School’s Prom the night before, making this event extra special. This year’s prom theme is "Tangled," so expect dazzling lights, elegant décor, and a stunning photo backdrop for all the "couples" to enjoy!
Promenade & Grand Entrance
From 1:30 to 2:00 PM, kids and their “date” can participate in a promenade-style entrance, walking up to the Convention Center doors while the public watches and cheers them on!
Dress Up & Dance!
Everyone is encouraged to dress up and enjoy an afternoon of music, dancing, and fun. Snacks and refreshments will be provided, and free downloadable photos will be available after the event!
A Great Cause
This event serves as a fundraiser for the 2026 Colby High School Prom! Entry is $20 per adult (cash at the door)—and yes, one paying adult can bring more than one "date." Kids must be accompanied by their special guest.
A Community Effort
Thanks to the leadership of Mary Beth Flanagin and the CHS Prom Committee, sophomore volunteers will be on hand to help make the event extra special for everyone.
Flanagin hopes this becomes a yearly tradition, allowing kids and adults alike to experience the magic of prom while supporting the high school’s future celebrations.
