The Lady Eagle basketball team has been on an exceptional run as of late, after defeating the Scott City Beavers at home on Jan. 17 putting them at 7-0 in the Greater Western Activities Conference.

Coming into the game Scott City was sitting in fourth place with 2-2 record before falling to Colby 42-48.  Starting out slow both teams struggled to put points on the board.  Scott City was able to hang six points, but Colby pulled ahead with nine points riding the aggressive play senior Alisabeth Barton.  She tallied 7 points in the quarter, three of which were from the free-throw line.
