Ladies Night Out: Passport to Savings in Downtown Colby!

I was thrilled to have LeAnna Soehner from Donelan’s Jewelry in Colby visit with me today. We're diving into the exciting details about this Thursday night’s much-anticipated event—Ladies Night Out: Passport to Savings!

Kristina: Hi Leanna, how are you?

LeAnna: I’m great, Kristina. Thanks for having me!

Kristina: Fantastic! So, let’s jump right in. This event has been a community favorite for a few years now, hasn’t it?

LeAnna: Yes, it has! While I don’t have the exact number of years, it’s been running for at least five years, and we’ve been adding more participating businesses each year.

Kristina: That’s wonderful to hear. Can you tell us which businesses are joining in this year?

LeAnna: Absolutely! Here’s the lineup:

Kristina: Great list! So how does the night work?

LeAnna: The event takes place this Thursday night from 5 PM to 8 PM. Each participating business will offer specials and tasty treats from a different country. You can get your passport at any of the 15 businesses and start collecting stamps. Every stamp you get is an entry into a drawing for Colby/Thomas County chamber bucks!

Kristina: And where do you submit your passport?

LeAnna: Once you’ve collected stamps from all the businesses, you hand in your passport at the last place you visit. That will enter you into the grand prize drawing for chamber bucks, which will be drawn on Monday. Plus, some businesses, including Donelan’s, will have their own little drawings during the event.

Kristina: Sounds like a blast! Is there anything else attendees should know?

LeAnna: Definitely! You can start collecting stamps anytime this week, not just during the 5 to 8 PM window. This way, you can take your time and enjoy each business without feeling rushed.
