First up, the Tulip Festival is in full bloom at Botanica Gardens. With over 70,000 tulips in a vibrant array of colors, it's the perfect spot to snap some photos and enjoy a leisurely stroll through the beautiful landscape. You can even pick out some tulips to take home as souvenirs!

Wichita recently hosted the NCAA tournament, drawing a crowd for an unforgettable sports weekend filled with games, music, and a lively atmosphere. With the weather perfect for outdoor fun, it was a blast for both locals and visitors.

Jamelle also highlighted the impressive Lawrence-Dumont Stadium, a great alternative to the long drive to see the Royals in Kansas City. The stadium’s location offers a perfect spot for family fun without the hassle of a long road trip. Plus, the new Exploration Place amphitheater is hosting River Flips—a free outdoor movie series every Friday night with food trucks, classic family films, and a great vibe for all ages.

Wichita is also home to some of the best food in Kansas. From local favorites like Bill’s Charcoal Grill to New Way and Taco Pronto, the city’s mom-and-pop eateries are a must-try for any visitor.

So, pack your bags, grab the family, and head to Wichita for a summer full of fun, food, and memories. For more information and to plan your visit, check out VisitWichita.com.
