Diana Lynn Schiffner, 79, of Colby, KS, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025, due to complications from Alzheimer’s Disease.
Born November 13, 1945, to Clay and Joy (Ford) Davis, Diana spent nearly eight decades deeply involved in her community. A Colby High School cheerleader and longtime hairstylist at Carousel Beauty Salon, she dedicated her life to faith, family, and service. She was active in the Colby High School Booster Club, Meals on Wheels, PEO, Pi Gamma, church volunteerism, and supported students at Colby Community College. Diana also played a vital role in her husband Glenn’s 24-year tenure as a District Court judge.
Known for her warmth and generosity, Diana’s home was always open—whether for backyard BBQs, team dinners, or laughter-filled gatherings. A devoted K-State fan, she and Glenn were longtime season ticket holders, hosting memorable tailgates with their signature purple plates.
Diana is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Glenn Schiffner; sons Brooke (Denver, CO) and Clay Schiffner (Ozark, MO) and their families, including five grandchildren; sister Bette Albers (Oakley, KS); and brother Dan Davis (Todd, NC).
