On Jan. 28, the residents of a Colby neighborhood woke up to find they've became the target of several burglaries late Monday evening.  Various residential cameras caught two suspects moving through the neighborhood casually searching anything vehicle that they could get into. There were cases along Court Avenue between Pine Street and Arrowhead Street.

One resident requesting to stay anonymous reported two suspects in baggy clothes appearing to be in high school entered her vehicle, but did not destroy any property they only made a mess of her interior.

Thomas Cline of Colby shared a video of the two suspects entering his vehicle and stealing an undisclosed amount of cash while having a casual conversation. He found a yellow crowbar that they left behind.

After receiving multiple reports of vehicle burglaries, the city of Colby issued an announcement asking for any information in relation to this case be sent to the Colby Police Department.  Please remember to keep your car doors locked.
